make configuration page of admin section more user-friendly

Part of this would involve hiding the name of the configuration values in favor of more user-friendly and descriptive terms (rss.config.datedesc => "show most recent items first/show older items first", etc.). The use of AJAX would also be cool.

I agree, admin/config definitely needs a redesign.

while we are at it how about making the admin page themeable just like the non-admin pages? I do not understand this THEME_OVERRIDE stuff.

On second thoughts, maybe that is a bit too much to ask and of not much use, since people will interact with the admin section much less. The only benefits I can think of would be providing a consitent UI. Perhaps the costs outweigh in this case.
